HYUNDAI-CELADON By Madhav Dua
Eons ago, the sacred region of Goguryeo was hit by a comet of jade from outer space. The crater formed led to fertility and prosperity in the surrounding region, and the locals saw this as a sign of luck. They thus worshipped it and Celadon, the precious ceramic was given birth. The comet’s remains were combined with Celadon ceramic to create a sculpture that became the guardian of the region for years to come. To this day, it stands as the proud guardian.
